During the late 80’s and early 90’s Herbert Azor was a top Hip Hop producer most recognized for producing hits for Salt N Pepa, Dane Dane and Kid N Play. I would describe his musical style as Marley Marl with a touch of RnB. Not exactly the boom bap but it still makes you head nod.
